Selin, also known as Esko Violin has been described as a “versatile musician who is able to play multiple instruments with great ease and confidence; a true utility player”. She was able to play instruments by ear at a very early age and picked up violin when she was 11 years old. Never having the chance to take private lessons, Selin learned everything in the short two years of school orchestra and just by practicing playing by ear. Later in life, she would learn how to read music on her own.
