Did you know that we have 6 coffee shops in our town? I know because before I even moved here I mapped them out. There’s something about a coffee shop that just draws me in, besides the coffee!
They are quaint quiet places with a very low hum from customers chatting quietly. There’s always great music playing in the background, but never too loud. Coffee shops are the perfect place to have a small business meeting, study place, place to get away from the kids, and a perfect place to meet a friend or two to chat.
Most of them are just coffee shops though. They serve some pastries, coffee, maybe some tea and that’s about it.
What sets bead and berry apart from the rest is it’s gourmet menu, healthy smoothies, and freshly made juices. It is also a venue for local artisans to sell their wares. But not many people in our town know they are here! This saddens me.
HUGE NEWS!!!! The amazing owners of bead and berry have now started on a new adventure. They are adding in a wine bar and evening tapas! Claire has come up with some specialty drinks of her own that are amazing!!!! You absolutely have to stop in to try them. Alcohol is served whenever the restaurant is open, so you can pop in for a breakfast mimosa with freshly squeezed orange juice!
bead and berry has opened it’s doors into the evening hours on Fridays. Happy hour is from 3pm-6pm and doors are open until 9pm. Every 2nd and 4th Friday they have Swing Dancing!
